This year the Artist Collective Seeking Kali is sponsoring an artist call for work in all media concerning the myth of MEDUSA.
AnnMarie adds: Of all the images I have seen of Kali, she is multi-faceted but I keep hearing the words destruction and wrath. I wanted to show her empathy toward death of living things - a sorrow and softness to her so this is what I came up with.

AnnMarie's wonderful image is beautiful expression of this paradoxical view of Kali. The subject of her wrath is often not understood.
This KALI is sensitive and caring soothing the pain of the universe. Thank you for this moving and outstanding work of beauty;-)
