This year the Artist Collective Seeking Kali is sponsoring an artist call for work in all media concerning the myth of MEDUSA.
AnnMarie adds: Of all the images I have seen of Kali, she is multi-faceted but I keep hearing the words destruction and wrath. I wanted to show her empathy toward death of living things - a sorrow and softness to her so this is what I came up with.

AnnMarie's wonderful image is beautiful expression of this paradoxical view of Kali. The subject of her wrath is often not understood.
